One Swallow...

... does not a Summer make! Especially when it's a tad blurred!

If truth be told, I didn't notice the swallow flying swiftly across the sky when I took a picture of this boat.

Today I crossed the lake by boat to spend the day with Jean in Evian. The weather was perfectly beautiful for the crossing. The lovely sailing boat was in the port when we arrived. It takes people for little cruises with its sails puffed and catching the wind as it sails.

Lots of useful things were done with Jean, like purchasing a new mobile phone which includes WhatsApp and will give him a lot of freedom, but also safety as he will keep it with him always and on his bedside table at night. I will go over the lake again as soon as the phone arrives and we'll do practice sessions together until Jean gets the hang of it!

Then we went shopping for fresh food and after lunch, I cooked up two meals that can be eaten tomorrow and the day after and on Tuesday the home help comes to cook again.  lt's all about being organized to make life easier and therefore more pleasant and worry free.  In the meantime, we phone every day to make sure that all is well.  One day at a time, that is all we ever need.

Honey was pleased to see me home at 6 pm with happy (hungry?) little miaows. I had left home at 8.30 am.
