FOUR-SPOTTED CHASER

I managed to escape the swirling fret today by travelling a couple of miles out of town to the woodland park where it was sunny and (almost) warm. I caught sight of some four-spotted chasers buzzing each other over a pond and happened to see where one landed. It looks very shiny and new and once I'd got the photo onto the big screen I noticed what looks like a dragonfly larva on a leaf blade bottom right, and just possibly the legs of another one appearing from the back of the leaf that the dragonfly is clinging to, a few inches further down.
