Laburnum

We took advantage of the lovely weather to get on with some much-needed gardening today. My main task (apart from playing with my recently-acquired new toy - ie mowing the lawn) was to plant two climbing shrubs we bought the other day (a climbing hydrangea and a honeysuckle), to begin repopulating our new trellises. It took rather longer than I expected as it required first the removal of some pretty  obstinate chunky roots of some of the previous plants so I got my exercise!

Fortunately I'd taken this photo of some lovely laburnam (just in case I didn't photograph anything else!) during my morning walk so I didn't have to take an Emergency blip this evening!
