Go West

Have noticed over the last year that as the sun rises over Surbiton a huge (and I mean huge) flock of seagulls, maybe 500+ gulls, appear flying from West to East. It makes a magnificent sight.

Then in the evening just before sunset they return, flying East to West. Does anybody know where they are going or where they come from? Do they bed down somewhere for the night?

This is but four of the last returners taken from the roof against tonight's beautiful sunset.
