Auntie

This is my godmother ( virtually 89 years old!) and one of my dearest, loving and supportive relatives.
L and I managed to squeeze in a short walk around the rhododendron filled garden of Parke the National Trust which is just a few minutes from where she lives.
After a small but extremely strong coffee we went to the dolphin hotel for a lovely dinner accompanied by a small glass of red wine for auntie and Lorraine and water for the driver.
After a dash back to auntie’s for a quick pudding we dashed back home to allow Lorraine to collect her ducklings from school.
Grateful for the wonderful weather and for seeing my wonderful Godmother if only briefly in the scheme of things.
