Buxton x 3

SATURDAY

Three trips from Monyash to Buxton today.

The first trip was at 8:00 am when I headed off to the Parkrun at Pavilion Gardens. It was a lovely morning for running. The course had been slightly amended from the normal route and the first leg around the old bowling green was pretty congested. I competed the run in 00:28:04.

Back to Monyash for a shower and breakfast outside in the sun at the  farm cafe which is adjacent to where we are staying. Then back over to Buxton where we spent most of the day exploring the spa town. We spotted a nice pizza restaurant La Gaby and booked a table for late evening. Also stopped off and spent an hour at The High Peak Bookshop and Cafe.

Then back to Buxton for the third time for dinner with Prue, Harriet and George.
