Hungry Heart

Up early this morning and had a little swim in the lake. A little cold but certainly woke me up. Then up to the mountains. We are at Crans Montana which is a couple of hours' drive away.
Took the cable car up from the village and then had a walk down of about 4 hours. Beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air. Stopped off for my favourite mountain lunch: croute au fromage, basically bread and melted cheese, and a little glass of wine. Well it is my birthday!
On the way down, we saw some cows being led down to a new pasture. And here is one enjoying her dinner.
Off now to find ours. Hope we find something that is as tasty.
