Had a lovely visit from my Sister this morning  -  cheered me up no end:)  It's our Mother's birthday today so here she is in Girvan  -  can't remember when  -  probably the 1950's  -  she lived in Pinmore and later in Turnberry around that time.  I remember Turnberry most because on walks along the beach there the main finds were rum bottles off the fishermen's boats and golf balls from Turnberry Golf Course.  Our Mother was Welsh and had a most gentle and generous nature.
