Well!

Yesterday afternoon three of us went to an Open Garden in Portinscale, or rather we didn't.  My friend misread the date.  The Open Garden, with views over to Skiddaw was today.  Never mind off to Lingholm instead.  This was a hose in its grounds, frequented by Beatrix Potter.  It is believed the 'Walled Garden,'  of which this is part of it, was the basis for Peter Rabbit.
A few photos were taken and a cuppa was had.
