The red bridge

It's hard to believe it was half underwater during last October's floods and where I was standing has only become accessible because the water removed the vegetation - though it won't be long before it's all back and impenetrable.
Church is the morning, cycle-watching and knitting this afternoon and then a walk to the ponds, no ducklings to be seen today and only glimpses of the swans.
