Runningmonk 50k

A lush morning at Foxholes, drinking coffee whilst looking out over a cloud inversion.

It was an early start to watch (and photograph) the BC50k. We watched the runners start, had a leisurely breakfast and then headed out to cheer on the runners. It was such a beautiful day to be out, once the sun had come out, and the atmosphere was brilliant. It’s a really inclusive event, meaning that there was 8 hours between the first finishers and the last, and each one was cheered through and hugged at the end. We picnicked with new friends, chatted and generally had a lovely time.

There was a massive storm at one point but it didn’t dampen the mood. Just a wonderful, wonderful day.
