Doris Mooltsje

Cycling around the countryside today I realised that although there were no hills, there was plenty of wind and it was usually head on. No wonder there are so many wind turbines here. We ended up at the Doris Mooltsje windmill which was built in the 18th century to drain the polder.....just by using the wind, no electricity or diesel required!
