Mortonhall Arboretum
One of the few days this week that actually started quite bright. Views though are still sadly lacking. Quiet day at work. Partner out shopping in the morning. Nice walk at lunchtime in the sunshine.
Quiet afternoon at work as well. At least I finish relatively early, it is still nice and sunny for the afternoon walk to get coffee and cake at the local garden centre. Partner has an ulterior motive is that she want some perennials to plant in a couple of pots. Blip is from the old Mortonhall Arboretum, which we walk through if it is dry. When we get to the café. There aren't the usual choices of a Victoria sponge or red velvet cake, The cake counter is devastated, but there are a few items, so all it not lost. After coffee, we wander around the garden centre and, as there was a buy one get one free offer, we get four plants. At least we can get a direct bus home.
