Looking over Loch Swilly

The day started a wee bit damp and windy but it didn't stop us getting down on Culdaff beach. One thing about having the Weim with us he needs to get a walk:-)

Stuck the boys trunks in the car and glad I did so as we were only down there five minutes and they wanted them on. Regardless of the weather they can't help themselves when they see the sea:-) Don't blame them, I was only down for five minutes and my shoes were off and I was enjoying a wee paddle too.

After a good hour and a bit spent at Culdaff we headed over to Buncrana. It brightened up a fair bit here but it was still a wee bit blowy. The boys spent a good wee while going between the beach and the play park. Grandpa's binoculars came out and they all had a wee look across Loch Swilly to the Fanad Peninsula.

Then we headed home for tea...but managed to fit another hour in at Culdaff...

Es joined us for our wee walks along Culdaff beach, otherwise, she has been holed up in the back of the car with her iPod on and her nose in a book:-/
