Sinéad and the Falleros

Son no 1 (Dan) and his lovely girlfriend (Sinéad) flew in from Edinburgh early this morning. The forecast was for cloudy weather but the sun shone on us until late afternoon.
After I’d made them a hearty Valencian breakfast and we’d all gone to Mass (surprisingly even son no 1) we explored the historic centre and the Turia Gardens (this lovely couple insisted that Sinéad join them for a picture). We did so much walking around that when we got home we were ravenous. We had to work up an appetite again in the evening though as Dan had booked us into a local seafood restaurant. More meandering around town after our meal, followed by ice creams. Tired tonight but brilliant to have company again.
