Another day, another museum…
This time a bit of a ramble down memory lane. We went to the Cahoon Museum of American Art in Cotuit, where I use to summer in the mid 1980’s. They are celebrating 40 years and I remember visiting the year after they opened. Then it was a much smaller collection housed in the home of Ralph and Martha Cahoon, painters and collectors. What an amazing transformation and wonderful exhibits. Here we are, the traveling trio, in the current exhibit on illustration. We then had a delicious lunch at the Kettle Ho, which I remember from those days. Safely back at their home and I will head back to Maine tomorrow morning filled with gratitude and an great memories.
