Edinburgh

Having had an exciting night receiving news of baby’s arrival, I woke up with a torn heart.
I longed to be able to go and visit them in hospital along with the other three grandparents but had planned to travel to Edinburgh to celebrate my lovely auntie’s 80th birthday.
So off I headed, somewhat reluctantly and had to be content with a flurry of lovely photos of our newborn granddaughter.

Very busy train but arrived to find Edinburgh basking in beautiful sunshine.
Popped to see my auntie ahead of tomorrow’s celebrations and then spent the evening at the home of friends. Another friend joined us and we had a lovely girlie evening.
