“In Einstein's equation, time is a river. It speeds up, meanders, and slows down. The new wrinkle is that it can have whirlpools and fork into two rivers. So, if the river of time can be bent into a pretzel, create whirlpools and fork into two rivers, then time travel cannot be ruled out”.

More scanning this morning, then I checked messages and there’s an Open Day at Llanarth church, one that’s been closed for many years which the Village Alive Trust are trying to bring back into community use - and there’s also refreshments being provided, that’s lunch sorted. Managed to get there before their lunch break to enjoy a personal guided tour around the church by one of the Trust members, interesting and enjoyable chat to him. Refreshments were on offer at the nearby community centre with an opportunity to chat to some of the other Trust members, it was worth the visit just for the smoked salmon and cucumber sandwiches! Totally unexpected and delicious, they know how to drum up support.
Spent the afternoon in the shade making inroads into Kate Mosse’s book Citadel. Read Labyrinth several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it, for some reason I didn’t follow up with her other books. Ah well, time enough now with the forecast for a few hot, sunny days.
