Bridge 214 - Trent & Mersey

Out geocaching with Paul today on an 8 mile walk from Acton Bridge to Dutton along the Trent & Mersey canal and back along the River Weaver..

This is the 1239 yard long Preston Brook Tunnel on the Trent & Mersey which is numbered as 'bridge' 214. This was slightly unexpected as I had thought that Bridge 213 - Lodge Lane Bridge was the last numbered bridge on the canal. I should have figured this out as two nearby tunnels, Saltersford and Barnton are also numbered. I have a feeling I missed this because it may only be numbered at one end and when I approached from the western end a few years ago I didn't see anything.
