Just passing through

Apologies for the long gap in posting: work, after taking a more reasonable pace through the spring, reared its head a couple of weeks ago and said, 'hey, listen up!' Given the current economy I thought I should and most other things have fallen off the table. Except for the Tour, which cascaded up the hill through Roujan yesterday. A group of us booked a table for 20 at the local cafe and amused ourselves in the shade through the Caravane and the heat of noon. Many in the group had never watched the Tour up close, as these events can be in France. There's no safety net for either riders or spectators and, even uphill, the leaders (this shot) passed by in a breath....
