Gleaming Spire.

Next to the Palace in Linlithgow stands St Michaels Church which boasts an iconic spire dating back to the mid 1960s It was close to collapse last year and £400,000 was spent on restoration.and now it gleams gold in the sunshine. Thanks to the demolition years ago of the third most iconic buikding in the town (the old cinema) which has left an ugly gap site on the High Street but now the spire can be easily seen.
