Longboat Key

I had forgotten how turquoise the water is on Coquina beach... and how stunningly beautiful. Even though we live only 12 miles from here, we hadn't visited for quite a while. Part of it is because we have gotten used to staying at home! The pandemic brought us there and we've been slow to move out of it. 

But I must say we really enjoyed going here and I think we'll do it again. The beach traffic is terrible in "season" but we are out of that now. Today, we had a great walk on the beach and Leffis Key.. almost 2 miles. We usually walk at a small park nearby that we love, but this was a wonderful change. Plus I talked Steve into going out for lunch at a waterfront restaurant we know & love. It was a date, and that was so much fun.
