Greece day 9

Day 8. Kalavrita to Corinth.
After another delicious buffet breakfast, Pete had Polish cake and I had crème caramel! Well they were on the buffet table and we had a huge mountain to get over.

Our ride started with a lovely downhill. The mountains were stunning, then we had 5 miles of up hill and quite steep in parts. Taking us back up to over 1000m again. We were rewarded with 10 miles of hanging onto my brakes for the zigzag descent. We stopped half way for an expresso and to take in the views. 

Then we had 48 miles of flat road along the coast. The wind got up and we battled the head wind into Corinth. 68 miles in total, quite an epic day.
