Seasons of Growth

At work today in the slave monied opulence of the City Chambers, discussing grief and transitions. Transitions are so very difficult because we resist. We want familiarity to be the wallpaper that helps walk us through our days. Stay we say.
We don’t want the thousand wee death-bombs and rebirths in each hour, the exponential inflation of space and time. So we suffer and so it goes. So it goes - like it or not- towards expansion begetting contraction, a balloon that must pop. And we grieve the fixed moment we can’t unfasten from and the universe expands nevertheless.
Please stay, we say.
