A Day In The Life

By Irish59

Cuckoo

Also known as Mayflower; we have a few growing on an un-mowed banking that overlooks the creek. Folklore says they’re sacred to fairies and should never be brought indoors. MrsP is a fan • I mowed today although the area around the garden still needs to be done with the battery-operated push mower; then there’s weed-whacking, of course • We’re still debating if we’re putting veggies in the garden or in pots • It’s been a beautiful day. Puffy white clouds floating against a blue sky. The lilacs are blooming, the cherry tree is abuzz with bees, and Ducky is back to his old self, although he still has a few days of antibiotics left • Cheers to another week! • Peace & Love
