In the centre of the loveliest residential neighbourhood in Bedford is a circular roundabout containing a garden. Volunteers have converted the north half into a community herb garden and today, hosted a public open day. I have recently joined in with the weeding and today I was making tiny plant-pots out of newspaper (extra) to sell seedlings pricked-out to order from one of the stalls.
