Inside the tree house

It's officially finished, and Ciarán is now officially allowed to go in without me. Net curtains are up, soft Early Learning Centre floor tiles are down. beanbags and Octonaut cushions in; and even lights on the ceiling.

He has been in and out since yesterday evening (complete with having his tea in there tonight with one of his friends) and seems to really love it. Although he's not actually said that!

In other news what a dreadful 24 hours.
Urs had a works night out last night so I had to pick up both boys and put them down. John whinged as soon as I got to nursery to pick him up.

Wouldn't eat his pizza, and covered us both in sick. Cheers.

I went to bed around 11, and struggled to get to sleep as I could hear John moaning from his room. Ciarán woke me up making soon much noise in going to the toilet, and then I got a phone call from s paramedic to say Ursula had fallen over and was being taken to A & E.
She had hit her brow quite badly and her eye is swollen shut.
She made it home around 5 am this morning, and Ciarán woke up not to much later!

Urs went to the eye hospital at midday then over the road for x-rays, and back to the eye hospital. There is no fracture, and her eye is hopefully okay, but she needs to go back to the hospital when the swelling goes down.

Meanwhile I was still at home as there is no way I could have taken John with us today, and he was to off form for anyone else to look after - proven by the 24 hours finishing as it began.... John and me covered in sick.

So apologies for no Gromit, bit I've been unable to leave the house all day and am already ready for bed.
