This is not the photo I'd hoped it would be. When I was walking by this tree, I was struck by the sight of new leaves growing right out of the trunk while old and gnarly roots grew just below. But it was in shade and I couldn't make the new leaves clearly visible. I worked at it for quite awhile, but this was the best I could do. I hope it suggests what I had in mind. It doesn't work in mono at all.
Today's suture removal was more of an ordeal than I'd anticipated. It seems my appointment for their removal should have been scheduled for a week ago. The result was that several of the sutures were deeply embedded in my palm and were difficult and painful to remove. One of them had to be cut out with a blade. It was pretty awful, but I kept my cool. I have an appointment with the surgeon in July to talk about surgery for my right trigger fingers.
Back to dialysis tomorrow, but it will be brightened by the fact that I'll be having my first video visit with Dr. Tekeste. I don't know how they will arrange it, but my job is just to be there. Grocery pick-up on the way home.
