Hoots Mon!

A raptor has appeared in the allotment. We were up there this morning picking salad and strawberries & giving everything a good watering and this big boy (girl?) had taken up residence and was doing a grand job of keeping the dreaded wood pigeons at bay. Way hey!!

It's been fantastic weather today and I spent the afternoon on the golf course playing in a Texas Scramble competition; the golf could have been a bit better but nobody minded 'cos the sun was shining!
Tip of the day: if you're going to slather on suntan lotion before playing golf, don't then splash lots of sand in the air when playing from a bunker on the first hole or you'll spend the next few hours feeling like a giant piece of walking sandpaper.
