Textures…..

…… And poof….. after a night of wind and rain most of a collection of wonderfully coloured Virginia Creeper leaves have disappeared from a friend’s boundary fence.
All that are left are naked stalks. Whenever I walked past the fence during the previous few days I thought to myself “Those leaves are beautiful. I must photograph them.” Well, I almost missed out totally. And overnight all the leaves have gone from my favourite group of poplars beside Doctors Creek . Note…. Beauty can be fleeting. Capture it when you can.
Foul weather with flooding, torrential rain and cold winds have descended on some parts of New Zealand. We have been let off lightly here in Blenheim. For now anyway….
