Blue!

I had a number of choices for today's blip:  the beautiful bouquets bought me by The Son and daughter #2, yet more blooming roses, better pics of bees working the honeybells....but in the end I went with this shot of clear blue sky  as a background to a pigeon sitting on the heavily pruned Ash tree.  This after all is supposed to be a site where we record significant events of our day.
Yesterday was also warm and sunny although The Cold kept me largely indoors but today I actually sat out enjoying that sky and warmth of the sun.  I'm making the most of it because it is set to be grey and miserable tomorrow.
