Just in time for the lilacs...

I was very happy to see that I got home just in time to see the lilacs bloom.  Many of the bushes were damaged by the storms but lilacs are hearty souls.  Lilacs are a staple in a New England garden, and their smell is one that I really love.  I plan to pick a big bunch, well, several bunches, for the house today.  John will be here to install another ac as the next few days will be very hot.  Louisa May was waiting at the door when I got home yesterday, and she has been excessively cuddly since.  We missed each other.  It is good to be home.
