Pond Life!

We were back at the new house again today. We filled up the car with more stuff to move and then tackled a bit more of the garden.

It's hard to concentrate on the gardening when you've a pond that's full of life. Both need attention, but sometime it's too tempting to watch what's going on instead. There was evidence of damselflies that have emerged as well as ones laying eggs. Pond skaters flitting about and one of my favourite spiders - the long-jawed orb weaver. These always appear as the damselflies emerge - no coincidence there then.

We sat and had lunch after our garden exertions and discussed what we're going to put where and even some thoughts to decorating before we move in. A busy few weeks ahead....
