Temperature Inversion

It was definitely warmer in the water than out of it this morning. It was the sharp NE wind that caused a cold, draughty exit from a sea which was  apparently 15° while the air temp in the wind was13°. Considering it’s about 6 ° in the winter water, this was almost tropical , but the fresh wind off the icy north whipping round me as I got dressed goaded me into to splashing  the cash and getting an Uber home. The luxury of being driven home to my door can’t be understated and is worth the outlay if it’s only once in a while.

The morning was quite bright and sunny but it’s looking dull and bleak this afternoon and there are a lot warm jackets back on backs.
