'Lady of the Lake'

We went over to Ullswater this morning and took a return trip on the 'steamers' (diesel powered!) from Pooley Bridge Pier to Howton Pier.  It was quite breezy and a certain little lady called Ivy was not too impressed with the whole adventure, seeking warmth on her Dad's lap!  In extras is the outward bound steamer setting off to continue its journey while we waited five minutes for another one to pick us up and take us back to Pooley Bridge.

On the way back to the cottage we stopped in Penrith for a wander and a toastie.  We both thought it was a really nice town.
