Emerging Beech Leaves

Many, many new beech saplings have been planted along the path by the river in Pollok Park .... some still look pretty lifeless but on some there are signs of new growth as the spearheaded leaves begin to unfurl.

A lovely morning gradually dulling over and by late afternoon the garden was enjoying a light shower of rain.
