my husband won tickets in his tennis club ballot, and we -somehow- got to see the women's final. A once in a lifetime experience. It's the details you notice - the green and white aesthetic, the choreography of the event, plus Pimms, strawberries, and well-ordered loveliness...

Unfortunately nerves got the better of the lady pictured, Sabine Lisicki, and she was easily beaten by Marion Bartoli, a worthy winner.
