Dog bites Legodude

Couldn't decide on a blip today so cobbled together a composite compromise that does neither image justice but there you go.
On the left you see 'Sweethaven', the set built for the 1979 Paramount/Disney live action 'Popeye' movie starring Robin Williams. After filming the set of the town was left in place and turned into a theme park of sorts. Was a nostalgia trip for Mrs. Legodude who'd previously visited it at the tender age of 14. I enjoyed it too, especially the location.
On the right you see the ruins of a Megalithic Temple in Buggiba, dating back to around 3000BC! I set out to search for it in the afternoon with only the town name and a rough map. After hitting some dead ends I finally discovered through a helpful tour ticket seller that the temple's in the grounds of the New Dolomite Hotel. Much more luxurious than anywhere we can afford, that's for sure. I went to the hotel and asked at reception if I could nip in and have a look, the clerk was very obliging. Bizarrely the hotel has been built right round and dwarfs the temple remains. Just next to it are a swimming pool and sun loungers.
