Phew!

On scorching hot days like today you have two main choices for refreshment.

You can sit on the pavement outside a style bar with an ice cold lager.

Or you can retreat to the dark, cool environment of the Oxford Bar for a pint of Deuchars chilled to perfection.

Judging by the hordes of sweaty lager drinkers I chose the road less travelled. I was definitely due a Deuchars, if only to toast all you fine blippers for your kind comments yesterday.

Not that there's anything wrong with sitting outside a style bar with a pint of lager. In fact I may try that tomorrow - just for the sake of research you understand!
