Busboy in Fife, Jean in Largs

Back blip

Left Dot’s in Edinburgh and went for a short but sweet visit to my brother busboy in his lovely flat in Glenrothes, Fife. Great to see him again and we had a walk in The Henge, where he lives, and our requested lunch in his flat of a Scotch pie with brown sauce! We didn’t see his partner D this time as she had an unexpected hospital visit (but all ok). The pic is on the henge, literally on his doorstep.

Too soon we had to leave there and drove to Largs to Bb’s mum’s, stopping briefly in Bb’s home town of Paisley. For our own records, we’re using Dot’s car, which she kindly lent for to us for this trip. Great to see my mum-in-law Jean again, and looking so good - Bb blipped her. After settling into Jean’s, Bb and I walked into the centre of Largs and got fish and chips to take home. Fishworks there had just won the award for, I think, best in Scotland and this in the UK. There were delicious. Oh dear, a Scotch pie and a fish supper in one day!!
