End of an era

This is the viola section from orchestra - usually I am part of it but I have played cello this term for a change. Tonight was our last concert with our conductor who is leaving after 12 years. It is quite strange to think we will be tackling some fairly tough stuff in September with someone completely different in charge. There is certainly no way I am tackling Mahler on a cello - so I shall definitely be back with the violas for that!
