Heading home
Woke to gorgeous blue skies and wall to wall sunshine. A lovely first walk in the beach and time to get organised after breakfast. Taking down the awning seems to be so much quicker than putting it up and we were all packed up and ready to head off just before 11.
Traffic was relatively light and we got to Fort William in under an hour. After filling up with petrol we parked up and e de vide some fast food was in order. So the Golden Arches was our destination and was quite tasty.
We took the A82 south through Glencoe and only had one pitstop at the Green Welly at Tyndrum for Mr PHL to fill up on coffee. We made good time and were home by just after 5.
I managed to get the van partly emptied and three loads of washing done. 2 loads on the line as it was forecast dry and not too chilly overnight.
After a very light dinner as I’d snacked all the way down the road, I had a lovely hot bath and felt nicely relaxed for bed.
I spotted this wee crab washed up on the beach this morning but figure I’m too late to tag it for MonoMonday.
Backblipped Wednesday for Monday.
