Count the heads!

Just as I was starting my walk round the Heritage Park (lunch time) it started to rain ..... lightly at first but for most of the afternoon it has been quite heavy. The garden is loving this constant drink of water and it saves me wandering round the recent plantings with my watering can.

The goslings are still cute apart from the first group to be born that now have long legs and their feathers are a sort of sandy colour.  Even the goslings in this large group are too big to seek shelter under mum's wings so huddling together is the next best option.
