Past Their Peak

A bit like me! It's my birthday today. It was generally a good day. Penny arrived with Layla and suggested we went out to dinner to celebrate. I decided a good idea. A little later Taisuki rang the doorbell with a bag of Austrian chocolates as a gift (disaster!!) By coincidence my Uncle Geoff passed away on my birthday 19 years ago which is what had reminded Taisuki. So in the end the 3 of us plus Layla went to the Duke of Wellington for dinner. An excellent evening. I love the peonies by the way but I think that they have seen better moments (about 4 days ago!)
