Taking Memories

We started the day a nice coffee down the road in Roadwater where there is a small cafe attached to the village stores.
This was followed by a fruitless visit to a lake/reservoir which Sal thought she had visited years ago with her mam and dad. Alarm bells should have struck when the satnav started taking us down lanes with grass growing on them. We eventually did get there but Sal didn’t recognise it as being the right lake!
We decided to bite the bullet and head to an old favourite instead, Winsford. Another one of those picture postcard thatched villages. As a bonus The Royal Oak was open so we took advantage of their hospitality.
Back to our holiday home to recover and then a chippy tea :-)
