Cotswold pub for lunch

The rain was relentless today but did not prevent me meeting an old friend for lunch in a well known Cotswold pub. No sitting outside today, though!
The UK PM announcing an “Independence Day” election date really needed an umbrella! The BBC 6 o’clock news waited 35 minutes into its programme before any mention of the tearful evidence from the former Post Office boss Paula Vennells.
