Wet ….wet….wet

Last night’s forecast was accurate and the rain continued all day. The key event for today was to be the delivery of a new mattress for our bed. We were up early to prepare and get the washing out of the way, before the delivery window of 1pm -3pm. I monitored the tracking info and as they got to number 12 out of 14, we were to be the last, I got a call to say that they had broken down and would be delayed. It was 5pm when they turned up, having kept us well informed throughout. It looks good, hopefully we will sleep well tonight.

I spent the hanging about time crocheting and watching the first series of the Sewing Bee on the IPlayer. It was interesting to see how it started 21 years ago.
