Hot...Damn Hot...

Looking at my iPhone weather-app it's "app"arently 30 degrees celsius

(Which is 86 degrees Fahrenheit in old money.)

Needless to say everyone is taking the "heatwave" precautions seriously and downing huge amounts of alcohol, taking off all their clothes and jumping in the rather fetid water down here at The Shore.

Tetanus jabs all-'round

Mind-you, there's no pleasing some people - the same lot who grimace at me in Winter muttering "the cold...the cold" are now grimacing "the heat...the heat..."

All I know is that my clothes are woefully inadequate for this weather (cue excuse to go shopping!)
