Port of Vancouver
We went out for coffee & pastries for breakfast, before checking out of the hotel.
Went to a Tim Hortons, which I’ve never tried before. It seems to have a reputation as Canada’s finest, so I wanted to be sure of trying some while we were here.
Have to say I can’t see what all the fuss is about; should have gone to an independent coffee shop instead. To be fair, the pastry was pretty awesome but the coffee was pretty poor - really weak flavour. I had to ask for sugar; they had no sachets so gave me about 5 tablespoons worth loose in a wee paper espresso cup!
We’re now checked on to our cruise ship, which is about to leave port within the hour as I post this. Phone signal and WiFi are likely to be sparse over the next week, so upcoming posts will probably be a bit sporadic, or all done together in a week’s time!
Thanks for all the likes/hearts and comments over the past week- as always, they are appreciated; and as you can guess, I’ve not had time to reply but I hope to get to that in due course.
