After Ponting

This was me playing with some of my holiday images this afternoon (and evening) inspired by Ponting's image taken on Scott's ill-fated expedition to Antarctica.

The gentoo penguins, Doris and Ethel stand in for his crew members and the tourist vessel, 'Expedition', replaces Scott's ship.

We never encountered a real ice grotto, so I had to improvise.
Not entirely happy with the result but generally pleased with the way it has turned out.
